DON WILLIAMS TRIBUTE (SONG LIST)
LORD I HOPE THIS DAY IS GOOD
IT MUST BE LOVE
YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND
SOME BROKEN HEARTS NEVER MEND
I WOULDN’T WANT TO LOVE YOU IF YOU DIDN’T LOVE ME
COME EARLY MORNING
TURN OUT THE LIGHT AND LOVE ME TONIGHT
SAY IT AGAIN
I’M JUST A COUNTRY BOY
IT MUST BE LOVE
LOVE ME OVER AGAIN
GOOD OLD BOYS LIKE ME
I BELIEVE IN YOU
IF HOLLYWOOD DON’T NEED YOU
LOVE IS ON A ROLL
THAT’S THE THING ABOUT LOVE
LOVE IS ON A ROLL
LISTEN TO THE RADIO
I’VE GOT A WINNER IN YOU
TILL THE RIVERS ALL RUN DRY
THE TULSA TIME BAND - A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF DON WILLIAMS

"Don Williams amassed an amazing 57 top ten songs (17 went to number one), over his 35 plus years as a country music superstar. He garnered fans all over the world. He won 14 ACM and CMA awards and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010. He was known as "The Gentle Giant of country music". He passed away on September 8th 2017 at the age of 78". The Tulsa Time Band proudly presents his timeless music with songs like Tulsa Time, Amanda, Lord I Hope This Day is Good, You're My Best Friend, Till The Rivers All Run Dry, Some Broken Hearts Never Mend, I'm Just a Country Boy, Good Ol' Boys Like Me and many more.... Don't miss the most authentic tribute to Don Williams.
I have always been a huge fan of Don Williams, and when he passed away in September of 2017, I knew I had to keep his legacy alive. So I solicited the talents of 5 top studio session players by the names of Tommy Dutiaume (steel, electric guitar, dobro, mandolin & b/u vocals), Kerry Hannah (bass), Brian Paul (piano & b/u vocals), Alan Popowich (acoustic & electric guitars) and Keith Dutiaume (drums). We soon created a new tribute to Don Williams called Tulsa Time.
The show consists of two 45 minute sets, or one 90 minute set, where we perform about 25 of the 57 top ten songs recorded by Don Williams. The instrumentation and vocals are true to the original Don Williams recordings. Every song will take every fan back to the 70’s and 80’s when Don was at the height of his career. We also include some career “facts” about his songs and how he got started in the music business. Don Williams fans won’t be disappointed.
BIOGRAPHY (RAY MARTIN)
Ray Martin has been called one of Manitoba’s “best kept secrets” when it comes to the art of song writing. Ray and co-writing partner Lyle Foster have won countless music industry awards having partnered in the Foster Martin Band for 19 years.
A song entitled "Thank You Lord For The Sun" is what helped them break into the song writing scene in Nashville, having co-published the song with Famous Music. It was at that time Ray & Lyle got a chance to write with Big Kenny Alphin of the famous “Big & Rich” duo. Ray has since penned songs with hit writers Gilles Godard & Willie Mack. Gilles is now the Chief Creative Officer of OLE Nashville.
Ray quit the band in 2004 to concentrate on writing and solo projects.
He released his first solo album entitled “Real Country” in 2017 and is now working on a gospel recording and developing a new Don Williams tribute show.
