Born and raised in Mexico City, where he learned and played pop rock music with "Children" which was his first band, then moved to Minneapolis, Mn. U.S.A. where he played classic rock with a band called “Zig-Zag”. It wasn't 'till the mid eighties that he arrived in Canada, and played with a show band called “Free Ride" which included impersonations of bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
2006 was the turning point for his music inclinations; he discovered his true self when he decided to go back to his roots, and started playing and writing Latin music, which he finds very fulfilling and rewarding.
